Danny Crates
Former rugby player Danny began his athletics career as a 400m runner. At his international debut at the World Championships his team won a silver in the 4 x 400m relay in a new European record time. At 800m Danny won both the World Indoor and European Championships, became world record holder, and won gold at Athens and the 2006 World Cup.
